Tally.ERP 9 supports exporting data in Microsoft Excel format. But, there are customers who use Open Office (free Software offered by Sun Microsystems) and would like to export data from Tally.ERP 9 to Open Office Spreadsheets.

Currently, exporting data to Open Office Spreadsheet is not supported.

ALTERNATE SOLUTION/WORKAROUND

Export the data from Tally.ERP 9 in CSV file format and then open the file in Open Office Spreadsheet. For detailed procedure refer to the topic -Import Data to Open Office Spreadsheet

RESOLUTION TIMELINES

Resolution for the above-stated problem will be provided in Tally.ERP 9 Series B JAS (July, August, September) Release.
