Tally.ERP 9 supports XML and SDF (using SDF Utility) format to import data. Currently, the masters imported in SDF format by selecting the Treatment of Entries as Combine Opening Balance does not combine the balances.
ALTERNATE SOLUTION/WORKAROUND
Import the masters in XML format instead of SDF format.
RESOLUTION TIMELINES
Resolution for the above-stated problem will be provided in Tally.ERP 9 Series B JAS (July, August, September) Release.
